what is a GLASS SAUNA?
A glass sauna is a regular sauna where the walls and/or doors are made of glass. The design of a glass sauna can vary, and the glass walls can be either transparent or somewhat frosted to ensure privacy. Glass saunas can be standalone structures or integrated as part of a home spa or bathroom.
The advantages of glass saunas are their aesthetic appearance and the sensation of taking a sauna vacation in nature or an open space. Additionally, glass saunas are typically more spacious, filled with natural light, and provide a sense of openness compared to traditional saunas.

Good sauna microclimate
Glass is a dense material, which doesn’t absorb the moisture from the room. Therefore, the steam room has a great microclimate, which makes steaming especially pleasant. The ventilation system with an exhaust draft ensures the constant supply of fresh air to the steam room.

From the product selection you can find saunas with anteroom as well as without. The choice depends on the client’s needs and possibilities.

SIGNING THE CONTRACT
The contract contains a detailed sauna description, payment conditions, delivery deadline, transport and installation conditions and guarantees.

PAYMENT
- 50% of the contractually agreed-upon sum after signing the contract
- 30% of the contractually agreed-upon sum after starting sauna construction
- 20% of the contractually agreed-upon sum after finishing the sauna

MANUFACTURING, TRANSPORT AND INSTALLATION
Sauna is manufactured under factory conditions.
The client confirms the readiness of the sauna location, after which it is transported and installed.

WARRANTY
Ahja Klaassaun offers a two-year warranty.

GLASS SAUNAS: FAQ
1. Do I need a construction permit?
As long as Ahja Klaassauns aren’t above 5m nor exceed 20 m2, you DON’T NEED a construction permit.
2. Do I need a capital foundation?
No. Depending on the property type and terrain, 4-6 post foundations or a foundation pillow filled with gravel should be enough. The sauna can be installed on a stone paving or a terrace with sufficient carrying capacity. It is important the base terrain is level.
3. What is the most important when choosing the sauna location?
It is important to ensure access to crane-equipped vehicles and, of course, consider the view you will enjoy while taking a sauna.
4. How many people can fit at once?
We consider 3-5 people.
5. Does Ahja Klaassaun take care of the sauna base?
Ahja Klaassaun representative will send out the required drawings and share the contact of the potential contractor, if possible. As a rule, sauna base preparation is the client’s responsibility.

6. How long is the delivery time of the Ahja Klaassaun?
This is very hard to predict, given today’s raw material deficit and long delivery times. Presumably, it could take from 8 to 10 weeks after the receipt of the first prepayment.
7. Does Ahja Klaassaun organise transportation?
Whether transportation is provided by Ahja Klaassaun or the client is agreed upon in advance.
8. Is the sauna delivered fully completed?
Yes. Our saunas are 100% completed at the factory.
